Να ταξιδεύεις επιθυμούσες
σαν εκδρομή να κατακτoύσες
τα μονοπάτια του νου
να καταλάμβανες τη σκέψη
σαν με ζεστό πηλό να έπλαθες
για να υπερασπιζόσουν το μοίρασμα
ανατέλοντας πίσω από υγρά μάτια.
Ερχόσουν δίπλα μου
στην ατέρμονη αναχώρηση
εκεί που ακόμα δεν έχουμε πάει
να κολυμπάγαμε
στα βαθιά του ονείρου.
Για ν' ακουμπήσω κι εγώ
στη δική σου θάλασσα
παρακάμπτοντας την αδυναμία μου
να χαθώ σε ερυθρά απογεύματα

Partialy frozen circles of ice surrounded by a completley frozen loch in Highlands, Scotland.

This was an 8 mile hike wih my mate David to get this shot and it was worth every bit of effort. It was brutally cold and my fingers and toes ceased to feel about half way in. We sheltered from the wind and had a bit of food in an old hut by the side of the loch. The food tasted great...

It was actually a pleasure just to see this phenomena with my own eyes and the cherry on top just to get a shot. I'd have loved for the bottom part of the frame to have been out of shadow but as David said, "the big guy controlling the lights just wasn't playing ball"

Crackin' day out. This for me is what photography is all about, experience, feel, live it first, the shot comes second (well sometimes ;-) )

The Ganges (IPA: /ˈgænʤiːz/, also Ganga pronunciation (help·info), Devanāgarī: गंगा, IAST: Gaṅgā in most Indian languages) is one of the major rivers of the Indian subcontinent,it has its origin in gangotri glacier with the name Bagirathi flows to join the river Alakanda and hence ganges is formed .
It flows east through the Gangetic Plain of northern India into Bangladesh. The 2,510 km (1,560 mi) river rises in the western Himalayas in the Uttarakhand state of India, and drains into the Sunderbans delta in the Bay of Bengal. It has long been considered a holy river by Hindus and worshiped as the goddess Ganga in Hinduism. The Ganges and its tributaries drain a 1,000,000-square-kilometre (390,000 sq mi) fertile basin that supports one of the world's highest density of humans.
The many symbolic meanings of the river were described by Jawaharlal Nehru in his Discovery of India,
The Ganges, above all is the river of India, which has held India's heart captive and drawn uncounted millions to her banks since the dawn of history. The story of the Ganges, from her source to the sea, from old times to new, is the story of India's civilization and culture, of the rise and fall of empires, of great and proud cities, of adventures of man…
In November, 2008, the Government of India decided to declare Ganga a "national river".
The river supports some 400 million people. Pollution of Ganga affects the people who live along the river and campaigns attempt to reduce the environmental stress.

To Νιου Χάμσαϊρ (Νέο Χάμσαϊρ) (αγγλικά: New Hampshire) είναι Πολιτεία των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, βόρεια της Κοινοπολιτείας τής Μασσαχουσέττης, στην περιοχή των Η.Π.Α πού είναι γνωστή και σαν Νέα Αγγλία. Ονομάστηκε έτσι λόγω της ομώνυμης περιοχής της Αγγλίας, Hampshire, από τον καπετάνιο John Mason.

Είναι γνωστή και σαν Πολιτεία τού Γρανίτη (Granite State), λόγω των μεγάλων αποθεμάτων γρανίτη στα λατομεία της. Πολλά φημισμένα κρατικά, και μη, κτίρια παλαιοτέρων εποχών σ' όλη την Αμερική, είναι χτισμένα με γρανίτη από την πολιτεία του Νιου Χάμσαϊρ. Έγινε το ένατο μέλος των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, τον Ιούνιο του 1788.
Είναι μια από τις μικρότερες πολιτείες των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, 46η σε σχέση μεγέθους - 26.099 τ.χ., και 41η σε σχέση πληθυσμού - περίπου 1,5 εκατομμύρια (2005).
Πρωτεύουσα είναι το Κόνκορντ (Concord). Η μεγαλύτερη λίμνη του Νιου Χάμσαϊρ είναι η λίμνη Γουιναπασόκι (Winnipesaukee), και το υψηλότερο σημείο είναι στο όρος Ουάσινγκτον (1.917 μέτρα).

Θεωρείται μία από τις πιο πλούσιες σε χλωρίδα πολιτείες των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, με εκατοντάδες είδη δέντρων, κ.τ.λ., και πολλοί επισκέπτες από άλλες πολιτείες, καταλύουν στο Νιου Χάμσαϊρ τον Σεπτέμβριο/Οκτώβριο κάθε χρόνο, μόνο και μόνο για να δουν και να φωτογραφίσουν τα φύλλα που αλλάζουν χρώματα, λίγο πριν πέσουν για τον Χειμώνα.
Οι πρώτοι Έλληνες μετανάστες έφτασαν στο Νιου Χάμσαϊρ γύρω στο 1893, και συγκεντρώθηκαν ως επί το πλείστον στις πόλεις Μάντσεστερ (Manchester) και Νασουα (Nashua). Οι πόλεις αυτές, έχουν μέχρι και σήμερα αρκετά σημαντικές Ελληνικές παροικίες, με Ελληνικές εκκλησίες, τού Αγίου Φιλίππου στην Νάσουα και Αναλήψεως τής Θεοτόκου, Αγίου Γεωργίου, και Αγίου Νικολάου στο Μάντσεστερ.

New Hampshire, is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States of America.

The state was named after the southern English county of Hampshire. It borders Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west, Maine to the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. New Hampshire ranks 44th in land area, 46th in total area of the 50 states, and 41st in population.
It became the first post-colonial sovereign nation in the Americas when it broke off from Great Britain in January 1776, and was one of the original thirteen states that founded the United States of America six months later. It was the ninth state to ratify the United States Constitution, bringing that document into effect.
New Hampshire was the first U.S. state to have its own state constitution, and is the only state with neither a general sales tax nor a personal income tax at either the state or local level. Concord is the state capital, while Manchester is the largest city in the state.
It is known internationally for the New Hampshire primary, the first primary in the quadrennial U.S. presidential election cycle.
Its license plates carry the state motto: "Live Free or Die." The state nickname is "The Granite State", in reference to its geology and its tradition of self-sufficiency. Several other official nicknames exist but are rarely used.
Among prominent individuals from New Hampshire are founding father Nicholas Gilman, Senator Daniel Webster, editor Horace Greeley, founder of the Christian Science religion Mary Baker Eddy, poet Robert Frost, author Dan Brown, and comedians Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, and Seth Meyers.
New Hampshire has produced one president, Franklin Pierce.
New Hampshire's recreational attractions include skiing and other winter sports, observing the fall foliage, summer cottages along many lakes, motor sports at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and Motorcycle Week, a popular motorcycle rally held in Laconia in June.

Το Τρόντχαιμ (Trondheim στα νορβηγικά Trondhjem, Τροντχέμ στην διάλεκτο της πόλης που έχει κρατήσει την παλιότερη δανέζικη ονομασία) είναι πόλη και δήμος στην κομητεία του Σορ-Τρόντελαγκ, στο κέντρο περίπου της Νορβηγίας. Το Τρόντχαιμ έχει 30.000 φοιτητές και είναι η τρίτη σε πληθυσμό πόλη της χώρας με 158.613 κατοίκους.
Η πόλη βρίσκεται εκεί που ο ποταμός Νίντελβα χύνεται στο μεγαλό Φιόρδ του Τρόντχαιμ. Trondheim (help·info) (Trondhjem) is a city and municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The city of Trondheim was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The rural municipalities of Byneset, Leinstrand, Strinda, and Tiller were merged with Trondheim on 1 January 1964.

Trondheim is a Norwegian center of education, technical and medical research with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and SINTEF located in the city. NTNU has about 25,000 students.
With 166,708 inhabitants (as of July 1. 2008), Trondheim is Norway's third largest municipality, as well as the centre of the fourth largest urban area, with a population of approximately 152,800 (but the real number might be closer to 175,000 (uncertain as of 2008)). As of 2008, the Trondheim Region, a statistical metropolitan area, has a population of 255,320.

Το Άγαλμα της Ελευθερίας είναι άγαλμα, το οποίο εικονίζει την Ελευθερία ως γυναικεία μορφή και βρίσκεται σε νησάκι στην είσοδο του λιμανιού της Νέας Υόρκης.
Η ιδέα του αγάλματος ανήκει στον Γάλλο ιστορικό Εντουάρ ντε Λαμπουλέ, ο οποίος πρότεινε να κατασκευαστεί ένα μνημείο προς τιμήν της γαλλοαμερικανικής φιλίας. Το 1874, ο Φρεντερίκ Μπαρτολντί, έμπειρος γλύπτης, άρχισε να εργάζεται στο Παρίσι για την κατασκευή του, ενώ τη στατική δομή του , μελέτησε ο Γουστάβος Άιφελ.
Όταν τελείωσε, το αμερικανικό Κογκρέσο αποφάσισε να τοποθετηθεί στο συγκεκριμένο νησάκι, από όπου είναι ορατό σε όποιον μπαίνει ή βγαίνει από το λιμάνι της Νέας Υόρκης. Εγκαινιάστηκε στις 28 Οκτωβρίου του 1886.
Το άγαλμα ζυγίζει 225 τόνους και καλύπτεται από ένα περίβλημα χαλκού.
Το ύψος του, χωρίς τη βάση, είναι 46,5 μέτρα, ενώ με τη βάση διπλασιάζεται. Στο εσωτερικό του, 168 σκαλιά επιτρέπουν την άνοδο στο κεφάλι και άλλα 54 στο χέρι, που κρατάει τον πυρσό.
Η βάση του φιλοξενεί από το 1972 το Μουσείο Μετανάστευσης.
